Yesterday, stopped by this river for a drink and shower about every 10 miles. Drank right out of the river. Some of you think that's crazy but soooo tasty and cold! Class 5 rafting river.
Woke up this morning looking around and thinking what the hell had happened to all my breakfast food! Apparently, critters during the night really like oatmeal, nestle carnation mix, and Maxwell house instant coffee!
Oh well, packed up my stuff and on I went into the town diner. Appetite is out of control. Back in Sun Valley, had access to a scale and I lost 6lbs in 2 weeks. Would have thought more but I was eating like a champ!
15 miles into my ride this morning and stopped by a bike shop in Donnelly, Id to get some air for the tires and couldn't believe that I was riding the main road which was really busy so he put me on this back farm road that was just awesome hence the video above.
Now, in the cool town of McCall, ID on a huge lake with MTns again all over. MUST LEAVE THE MIDWEST!!
Want to head up 30 more miles to Council, ID for the night. Again, hitting the town park.
